Professional Experience

Pastoral Counselor – Avon Christian Counseling Center of Avon, Indiana, from 1999 – Present.  Provides Pastoral Psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.

Pastoral Counselor – Mooresville Christian Counseling Center of Mooresville, Indiana, from 1998 – Present.  Provides Pastoral Psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.

Pastor – International Nazarene Fellowship, Rizal, Philippines, from 1995-1998.  Organized new fellowship, provided pastoral care and counseling, and was in charge of outreach ministries.

Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministry – Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary of Rizal, Philippines, 1992-1998.  Taught courses such as Pastoral Care and counseling, Group Dynamics, Interpersonal Communication, and Adult Education to graduate level students.

Dean of Students – Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary of Rizal, Philippines, 1992-1998.  Assisted students in coping with cultural adjustments and various cross-cultural issues.  Provided pastoral care and counseling for students, pastors, and members of the campus community.

Director of Field Education – Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary of Rizal, Philippines, 1995-1998.  Was responsible for coordinating, supervising, and evaluating for Field Ministerial students.

Associate Pastor – In charge of pastoral care and counseling at Westside Church of The Nazarene Indianapolis, Indiana, 1985-1992.  Provided pastoral care to shut-ins and convalescing members at home, and visited the sick in area hospitals and nursing homes.  Established Westside Christian Counseling Center in 1985.  Provided pastoral care and counseling for individuals, couples, and families from the Church and community.  Organized and lead various therapy and support groups such as; Victims of Abuse, Divorce Recovery, and Grief Recovery.  Conducted seminars, retreats, and workshops for groups and local churches.  Major areas of counseling were depression, domestic violence, addictions, and sexual abuse.
